Release & Renew
A Bali Yoga Retreat | 5 Days
December 14–18, 2025
Do you feel like the year has rushed by, leaving little space to truly pause? Are you longing for a gentle moment to reconnect with yourself, reflect and close this year with gratitude? Would you love to step into the next one with clarity and intention?
Then I invite you to join me in Bali for a 5-day retreat nestled in the lush gardens of Prana Dewi Mountain Resort.
Through daily yoga and meditation, guided journaling, and nourishing experiences in nature, you’ll find space to release what no longer serves you and remember what your heart truly desires.
Each day begins with a flowing Yoga class designed to release and carefully themed to deepen your connection to yourself. Mindful meditation and restorative practices in the evening bring inner awareness, while moments of reflections during the day invite creativity and clarity for what’s to come next.
This retreat is more than a getaway—it’s an intentional pause at the threshold of a new year. A sacred space to honor your journey, let go with grace, and step forward with renewed clarity, trust, and inspiration.

The Host
I'm Annie, a Yoga Teacher from Berlin, half living in Bali.
My Yoga-Journey began 2007 in a fitness studio – and I quickly realized how much the Asana practice benefited not only my body, but also my mind. At a Yoga festival shortly after the deeper essence of Yoga was revealed to me. Inspired, I quit the gym and became a member of a Jivamukti Studio, where I immersed in practice and Yoga philosophy through classes and books.
In 2017 I deepened my commitment by completing an Ashtanga-Vinyasa teacher training in India. After many years of practice, I felt called to share my love of Yoga with others and began teaching in 2018 alongside my primary career as a journalist. My teaching journey has taken me around the world, including a three-month stint as a resident teacher at a Yoga Retreat Center in Costa Rica. 2024 I finished my apprenticeship with Sandra Gerhard in Practice Berlin. I teach in several Yoga Studios including Yoga Now and Open Studios.
I divide my time between Berlin and Bali, where I live for a few month each year, fully embracing the island’s rich culture and vibrant Yoga community. I practice Ashtanga Mysore in Bali and I'm passionate about the unique energy and spiritual atmosphere the island offers Yogis from all walks of life.
Next to teaching Yoga, I'm a journalists and writer, and I practice Vedic Meditation.
I would be delighted to welcome you at my Retreat!

Are there mosquitos or insects?
Prana Dewi is surrounded by rice fields and jungle. From time to time, you may be visited by a curious critter or two. It’s part of the magic and of being in a tropical environment.
That said, the staff takes great care to keep your bungalow comfortable and critter-free. Every bed is fitted with a mosquito net, and we provide eco-friendly insect repellent for extra peace of mind. And if an unexpected guest does appear, we’ll be sure to send them on their way.
Is there WiFi?
Yes. Strong WiFi is available in the main hall when you need to plug in. But the bungalows and yoga shala are intentionally WiFi-free, creating space to unplug, slow down, and stay present.

In December its wet season in Bali with temperature around 30°C. However, nestled in the serene mountains where our retreat is located, you’ll find a more refreshing climate with gentle rains that often pass quickly, leaving the air crisp and the surroundings lush and vibrant. In the night you will sleep well even without air conditioning as the temperature lowers to around 25 degrees. It’s a magical time to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy peaceful walks through misty landscapes, and savor the tranquility that the beauty of nature in the mountain offers during rain season.
